About Us

Catherine Wilson founded Locus IQ after spending a decade in the CEO role of a non-profit. As an entrepreneur, star- trek nerd and social worker, she began to see the connections between the 3 unrelated ideas. 

Catherine spent close to 25 years in the non-profit and philanthropic sector where she connected philanthropy to strategies to alleviate the social determinants of poverty. In early 2025, Catherine decided to pivot to a founder connecting capital using AI.  She believes understanding the intersection of artificial intelligence, people and communities is a key component of creating wealth. 

Catherine lives in Newark, New Jersey with her two dogs, Patrick and Asher
